Matthias Meyer [de]

Matthias Meyer, born 1972 in Hamelin, studied experimental painting fucussing on new media in Vienna and Kiel. In 2001 he completed his diploma in Fine Arts at the Muthesius Hochschule, Kiel. Since 2004 he lives in Hamburg and holds a teaching position in the class of media art at Muthesius Hochschule, Kiel. He 2001 gained the Nordwest-Lotto scholarship, Kiel, as well as the Brockmann Price of the city of Kiel, 2002, followed by a scholarship by Künstlerhaus Lauenburg. In 2005 the city of Hamburg assigned him a working grant.
He, amongst others, exhibited in New York, Turin, Lauenburg, Vienna, Berlin, Kiel and Hamburg.
