Astrid Heibach, born 1949, studied film at the Kunstakademie in Düsseldorf.
In 1992 she received the German video art award. She edited the first edition
of the video magazine 'Infermental' with Gábor Bódy, who initiated this project
in 1980. Heibach lives and works in Cologne.
