Seiko Mikami, born 1961, has been approaching the problems concerning the circumstances of human information by dealing with such topics as the immunity of the living body, digital perceptions and man-machine interface.
She is teacher of Information Art at the Tama University in Tokio, Mikami is currently based in Berlin as a fellow of the Universität der Künste and as artist in residence at TESLA, berlin's laboratory for art through media.
