Anastasia Nekozakova completed her degree in cartography and geographical data at the University of Moscow in 1998. She's interested in media since 1999 and especially in video since 2001. In contemporary media activism and collaborative projects she's in search of new possibilities of video reportage, developing theory and practice of non-manipulatory montage. She was co-organiser of the festival 'No Culture without Subculture' in 2004. Furthermore she worked as coordinator of the interdisciplinary, feminist festival 'Gender Itinerary' and for various video projects like indyvideo.ru.
