Alexandra Crouwers was born in the Netherlands in 1974. She lives and works in Antwerp as digital artist, copywriter, DJ, illustrator and poet. She studied at the Fine Arts & Design Academy, Den Bosch and at the Sandberg Institute in Amsterdam. In 2004 she began to study Film and Image Culture at the University of Antwerp. Her works include drawings, digital graphics and installations. Recurrent themes in her work are the nature of light, the perception of time and the relationship between humans and nature. All her works take particular care to the purity of the aesthetic experience.
Alexandra Crouwers took part in several exhibitions in Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Zürich, Köln, Antwerp, Brussels, Den Haag and London.
