Peter Haas was born in 1965 in Osnabrück, Germany. He studied philosophy and literature in Cologne, Vienna and Berlin. He has been working as software developer and founded Weblicon Technologies AG in 2000, a software enterprise for mobile applications. 'Roba Forestiera' (Foreign Stuff) is his first film together with Silvia Holzinger. They also founded the company 'Il Mare Film' that produces artistic autonomous documentaries for digital cinema and TV.
