Cabinet
'Cabinet’s' ground zero is the small rustic cabin in Montana, where the American terrorist Theodore John Kaczynski, known as the Unabomber, wrote his manifesto 'Industrial Society and Its Future' - a philosophical critique of technological civilisation. It was published by the Washington Post in 1995, on the understanding that the Unabomber's terrorist campaign would cease.
The chasm between Kaczynski's irrational argument, and the violence of the way he set about propagating it, is where the spectacle of 'Cabinet' plays out in order to deconstruct and sabotage the romance of the Unabomber's story.
