Liu Wei, born 1965 in P.R.China, lives and works in Beijing. In 1992, he graduated with bachelor's degree in literature, as a design major, from the Department of Fine Arts of China Central Academy of Drama. He completed his studies in 1995 at the Symposium on the Relationship between Religion and Culture, hosted by the Philosophy Department of the Beijing University. Since 2000 he participates in international exhibitions, whereas, he was venerated by several Honourable Mentions. For example, amongst others, 2002 at the ZKM's, Karlsruhe, '10 Jahre Medien Kunst', where he received at Honorable Mention or other festivals in Japan, Slovenia, Italy and Germany.
