The recently published ‘Book of Imaginary Media’ investigates the dream of the ultimate communication medium from multiple perspectives, building on insights provided by media archeology. The project is based on a 2004 conference with Siegfried Zielinski, Bruce Sterling, Erkki Huhtamo, Timothy Druckrey, and others. The editor and head of the media programme at De Balie Amsterdam, Eric Kluitenberg, presents this project.
