Under its motto unfinish!, transmediale.07 explores artistic processes that are open to change and to the reversal of decisions once taken. The festival concentrates on the point where what seems fixed can be undone, and questions the importance of continuity and change.

The programme includes an exhibition to the festival’s theme unfinish!, an extensive Film & Video programme, a several-day Conference with international scientists, a series of experimental Performances and the Award-Ceremony. The Salon programme invites to an exchange of ideas while the Lounge offers previews of the Film & Video programme. Diverse External and Partner Events complement the programme.
