Einar Thorsteinn, born 1942 in Reykjavik, Island, lives and works in Berlin. The close friend of the visionary Buckminster Fuller and former student of Frei Otto is considered as a pioneer of experimental architecture. He has conceived many houses with a so-called "geodetic dome" and numerous buildings complying ecological standards. Together with Olafur Eliasson Einar Thorsteinn is working since a long time on projects throughout the world and had many solo as well as group shows in Germany, Slovenia, Denmark and Austria
